How does live band karaoke work?
Just like regular karaoke. First, find a song you’d like to sing from our song list. Then sign up on the sheet in front of the stage. Listen for your name to be called. Come on up to the stage. We have lyrics on our screens and will cue you when it’s time to sing.
Do I need to have the lyrics memorized?
No. We have lyrics on our screens and will cue you when it's time to sing.
How do I sign up to sing?
We provide a sign up sheet in front of the stage where you can write your name and song. If you decide you want to change your song at the last minute, no problem! When your name is called to sing, tell us what song you'd like to switch to.
What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?
We are encouraging everyone to bring their own microphone, if possible. Don't own a mic? No problem! We have mics for you to use, along with disposable mic covers. Between each singer, we are wiping the microphones down with clorox wipes, and putting on a new microphone cover to keep you safe! In an effort to practice social distancing, we are temporarily limiting stage capacity to one singer per song.
Can I book Party! Party! for my private event?
Yes! We play both public and private events. We can provide our own PA system, mics, lyric screens, and stage lights. Check out our booking page for more details.
What if I want to sing something that’s not on your song list?
Use our song request form on our song list page. We can't learn every song, but we regularly make song additions based on requests.
Can I sing loud?
Absolutely! Please be mindful of a few general microphone techniques:
- Hold the microphone right up to your mouth
- Keep the mic upright when not singing to avoid loud feedback
- Keep your hand positioned on the mic stem and don’t "cup" the grill/head of the mic
